Fold and Cut

We made Halloween themed (www.think-maths.co.uk/fold-and-cut-bat) fold and cut resources previously.

Erik Demaine’s website (mathematician who worked on fold and cut) – includes templates of shapes to print out and fold along the dashed lines: https://erikdemaine.org/foldcut/

An interactive where you can type in some text (eg your name) and you will be given the fold patterns for how to found each letter to cut it out in one cut. You’d need to screen capture and print each letter and fold along the lines shown. https://erikdemaine.org/fonts/simplefoldcut/
